Trains, boats and firetrucks dominated Saturday's attractions in the Wheeling area as visitors enjoyed fall-like temperatures and a host of activities.

A cool breeze greeted visitors to Eric Freeland's Farm in Windsor Heights where he opened his property to train buffs for a view of his garden model railroad display. More than 200 visitors of all ages had visited the farm by early afternoon to see the working G-gauge trains roll across bridges and through tunnels amid the lush garden terrain.

The free garden railroad display is open again today from noon to 7 p.m.

Freeland said he welcomes anyone with a working G-gauge train to bring it along and he will see if he can run it on his track. Freeland's farm is located 3 miles up the hill into Windsor Heights which is accessed via Short Creek Road off W.Va. 2 north of Warwood.
