Saltair was a large Amusement Park and Dance Pavilion, etc. built on the south shore of Salt Lake. It opened in 1893 and was owned by the 'Mormon' church. It created some controversy as Saltair also served/allowed alcohol. It even had its own railroad running to the site. There were various phases over the years..fires..fires...re-building,etc.etc. I think the best calculation of the LAST DATE of this park was 1958....
