Piney Ridge Park by my calculation was located in area covered by the above map. Note the old railroad line...actually a Trolley line...


Piney Ridge Amusement park was built by the Hartford and Springfield Railway. Piney Ridge was built in the early 1910's and later closed in the early 1920s. It was a small park but they did have a baseball field, a roller skating rink, a carousel, a dance hall, concession areas and other recreational activities.
