The Carousel features the music of an 1890 Berni band organ with 100 years of original music. It was built sometime between 1915 and 1920, and was brought to Fairbanks from Kirkwood, Illinois.

Also in Pioneer Park a Miniature Train operates and is supported by an organization involved with preserving the history of the Tanana Railroad.----The Crooked Creek and Whiskey Island Railroad is a narrow gauge train that meanders through the park. The train station is located near the banks of the Chena River and gives riders a unique view of the scenery. ALL ABOARD!
