The Pacific Congress Springs bottles are in shades of blue, green and amber, as well as clear; all are more colorful than the clear and occasional blue used by druggists.
The name Pacific Congress Springs was homage to Congress Spring of Saratoga Springs, New York, and its earliest bottles were modeled after those of Saratoga Springs.
The Congress Springs land is now owned by the San Jose Water Company and closed to the public.
Another line from Saratoga was the Mills Seltzer Springs on Mount Eden Road, named for owner Luther R. Mills. He later changed the name to Azule Seltzer Springs.
