1913 to unknown year had a Roller Coaster named GIANT COASTER


hmmmm...I got the above from an old source which I seem not to be able to find now. I HOPE I am correct.


Tri-City Traction Company -- Princeton West Virginia

The Princeton Power Company connected Princeton and Bluefield with this 12 mile interurban Trolley in 1916. It was single track, built on private right-of-way, and was operated together with the street railways of the terminal cities. The road adopted the name Tri-City Traction Company in 1928. Service was provided mainly with six double ended Cincinnati light weight cars of 1924, and an earlier (1917) Cincinnati car of semi-lightweight design. The company applied for bus conversion in 1942, but was refused permission to convert by the Office of Defense Transportation. The conversion took place in 1946.
