Somebody submitted this image (which really shows nothing) and said there WAS an amusement park out on Sheffield Island around the turn of the last century. 1900 era. It was short lived so the tale goes.
Sheffield Island is out in the ocean off Norwalk, Connecticut. It's totally possible the tale is true as these small amusement areas popped up all along coastal Connecticut in this time period.
