Oakland Park, Rockland, Maine. A popular Trolley Park.

I am very confused by this Oakland Park. Trolley records will note Oakland Park but not the exact town/city that is was in. Some postcards say Rockport, Maine and some say Rockland, Maine. Less confusing is both places were in the same area.

Oakland Park opened in 1902 and closed in 1931. It had a Casino, Pond, Dance Hall, Restaurant, Baseball Diamond, Bandshell and even an Alligator...... The Dance Hall remained active till World War II and even for a time after 1945....
