Presently, there is 1423' of 15" guage track made up from 12 lb rail lag bolted to 4 x 4 x 30" pressure treated ties. Heavy duty landscape fabric was first put down to prevent ballast from sinking into the ground and to prevent weed growth. Finally 3/4" stone ballast was used to level the track.
When the line is finished, there will be over a mile of track. This includes 3359' of main line and the rest sidings and yard area.
Projects this year included ballasting some 1200' of track, building a number 11 switch, adding 102'of track, and building a 48' long trestle.
