Queen City Park was opened by the Central Vermont Railway and for the 'usage of it employees' for recreational usage. The Spiritualist Corportation purchased the property in 1880, providing a Hotel, Pavilion, Cottages, and recreational facilities for its guests.

This booklet is the Spiritualists 40th annual session. I did find one page with pencil writing on it. corners are crimped, booklet shows age soiling/toning. This is a very interesting piece of local history.....
I have long wondered about Queen City Park in Burlington, Vermont. I have seen numerous indications that numerous 'amusements' existed there over time to at least give it a listing....
