Nantasket Beach, Massachusetts. This was a major resort area for the Boston Area back into the 1800's. Without extensive research (I am sure books have been written) I am not sure what Parks were there and when.
There was the well known Paragon Park but that did not open till 1905. From pictures I will see a Park named Steeplechase and then another one Shoot the Chutes.
(both a common name at major amusement parks) I now see one of Nantasket Beach saying 'this one was built' and gone in a few years.
For now I will just call it Nantasket Beach as to pre-Paragon Park.
Hull's first amusement park, 1901-1908. i.e., Nantasket Point, Hull, Massachusetts. (no---they were there pre-1901-webmaster) The amusement park closed for good after the 1908 season.
In 1909 its 25 acres, hotel, wharf, and dancing pavilion were bought by a pair of Brockton businessmen for approximately $100,000.00 with the intention of laying out 200 house lots. [While this was being done the field where Fort Revere soldiers played baseball against neighboring forts soldiers for years,
at Pemberton, was also given up to house lots and new streets]. The former amusement park land was renamed by its new owners as 'Sunset Point,' the name it is generally known by today. --this describes the first picture...
