I am trying to concentrate this website on area of Litchfield County,Connecticut. In the populated 'NorthEast USA' Litchfield County,Connecticut still remains semi-rural with a landscape of 'mountains' and 'countryside'. How many 'dead' towns ? Very few. Connecticut has 169 towns and no un-incorporated areas.(I think !!) It has been a well settled state from times long long ago. As anywhere there have been settlements though with distinctive names. It is very difficult to find any graphical evidence of a 'dead town' but I will try to include a few when I run across them and perhaps a little note about the 'dead town'. For now just image of old U.S. Postal mark ? [[ and elaboration of each upcoming ]] There have been very very few (repeat) dead places in this area so such are kind of rare. Dead places? Theres in-famous Dudleytown within town of Cornwall that is reputed haunted till this day. Anything with Dudleytown image on it? It would be awfully rare. Never saw anything.
