A lumber railroad, Bayonne Lumber Company....

One lumber firm, the Bayonne Lumber Co., constructed and operated between 1908 and 1920 a 4-mile-long railroad short line that connected Pittsfield to the White River Railroad that ran trains between Bethel and Rochester.
